Indication & Dosage: Xoleron (Zoledronic Acid) generic Zometa is a prescription medicine used to treat high blood calcium levels (hypercalcemia) that may occur with breast cancer, lung cancer, Prostate cancer. Zoledronic acid is also used with cancer chemotherapy to treat multiple myeloma and bone problems. Zoledronic Acid lowers high blood calcium levels by reducing the amount of calcium released from your bones into your blood. Zoledronic acid also works for Hypercalcemia of malignancy and slowing the breakdown of your bones by cancer to prevent bone fractures. Xoleron is manufactured by Beacon Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Zoledronic Acid is given by injection into a vein as directed by your doctor, usually over at least 15 minutes. The dosage is based on your medical condition (including your kidney function) and response to treatment. Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions of Zoledronic Acid are: Nausea , tiredness , flu-like symptoms ( such as fever , chills, muscle/joint aches), dizziness , headache , or pain/redness/swelling at the injection site.
