Indication & Dosage: Wedica (Trelagliptin), generic Zafatek is a prescription medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. Trelagliptin controls blood glucose levels by selectively and continually inhibiting dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-4), degrades incretin hormones that maintain blood glucose regulation and increases insulin secretion when blood glucose is elevated & thereby controlling blood glucose levels. Wedica manufactured by Beacon Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Trelagliptin has to take orally once a week.
