Indication & Dosage: TAFINLAR (DABRAFENIB) is a prescription medicine used to treat alone or in combination with another medication (trametinib) to treat a type of skin cancer (melanoma). DABRAFENIB is also used with trametinib to treat thyroid cancer and a type of lung cancer (non-small cell lung cancer-NSCLC). Dabrafenib works by slowing the growth of cancer cells.. TAFINLAR manufactured by Novartis Pharma in UK. Dabrafenib has to take orally usually twice daily about 12 hours apart on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals) Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions of DABRAFENIB are: Hair loss , thickening of the outer layers of the skin, headache , swelling /peeling of feet/ hands .
