Indication & Dosage: Osapiderm DR (Posaconazole), generic NOXAFIL is a prescription medicine used to Invasive aspergillosis, Fusariosis, Chromoblastomycosis, and Coccidioidomycosis in patients with disease that is refractory or intolerant to Amphotericin B, Itraconazole or Fluconazole or in patients who are intolerant of these medicinal products. Posanoxonazole is also used to treat in patients receiving remission-induction chemotherapy for Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) or Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) expected to result in prolonged neutropenia and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) recipients who are undergoing high-dose immunosuppressive therapy for graft versus host disease and who are at high risk of developing invasive fungal infections. Osapiderm DR is manufactured by Incepta Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Posaconazole has to take orally once daily with or without food. Side Effects: The most common side effects of Posaconazole are: Nausea , vomiting , diarrhea , headache , abdominal pain , dizziness, trouble sleeping, or stomach upset.
