Indication & Dosage: MEGADOX (DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE), generic ACTICLATE is a prescription medicine used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections including those that cause acne. DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE is also used to prevent malaria. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This medication treats only certain types of infections. DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE will not work for viral infections (such as the common cold, or flu). MEGADOX is manufactured by Beximco Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE has to take orally once or twice a day without food.
