Indication & Dosage: GLUKOFEN (METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE), Generic Glucophage is a prescription medicine used to treat proper diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE also works for controlling high blood sugar which helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and sexual function problems. In overweight adults with type 2 diabetes, using metformin as the initial treatment after diet adjustments fail has shown to decrease the risk of diabetic complications. GLUKOFEN Manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceutical Ltd. In Turkey. METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE has to take orally 1-3 times daily with food.
