Indication & Dosage: Enhertu (Fam-Trastuzumab Deruxtecan-Nxki) is a prescription medicine used to treat certain types of HER2+ metastatic breast cancer and HER2- low metastatic breast cancer, HER2- mutant metastatic lung cancer, HER2+ advanced stomach cancer, or esophagus cancer. ENHERTU is FDA approved for the treatment of several types of cancer. Trastuzumab deruxtecan is used to treat tumors which are involved with the HER2 protein. This medicine is a combination of a monoclonal antibody and a topoisomerase inhibitor. Trastuzumab deruxtecan binds to the HER2 cancer cells and prevents them from splitting and expanding. Enhertu manufacturted by AstraZeneca Pharma Ltd. in India. Trastuzumab Deruxtecan has to take by slow injection into a vein by a health care professional, usually once every week or once every 3 weeks. The first injection is given over at least 90 minutes.
