Indication & Dosage: Dekort (Dexamethasone), generic Maxidex is a prescription medicine used to treat certain eye conditions due to inflammation or injury. Dexamethasone is also treat swelling, redness, and itching of the outer ear due to inflammatory conditions. Dexamethasone works by relieving symptoms such as swelling, redness, and itching. Dexamethasone belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. Dekort is manufactured by Deva Pharma Ltd. in Turkey. Have to shake well brfore using. One or two drops topically in the conjunctival sac(s). In severe disease, drops may be used hourly, being tapered to discontinuation as the inflammation subsides.
