Indication & Dosage: BIVASTIM (Bevacizumab), generic Avastin is a prescription medicine used to treat colorectal cancer for first- or second-line treatment in combination with intravenous fluorouracil–based chemotherapy. Bevacizumab is also used to treat advanced non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), advanced cervical cancer (CC), ovarian cancer (OC), breast cancer, kidney cancer, colon or rectal cancer along with other cancer medicines. If patient tolerate the first dose well then later infusions may be given over a shorter time (60 or 30 minutes).
