AZITHROMYCIN works by stopping the growth of bacteria. AZITHROMYCIN antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. AZITHROMYCIN will not work for viral infections (such as the common cold, or flu). AZELTIN is manufactured by BIOFARMA Pharma LTD. in TURKEY. AZITHROMYCIN has to take orally once a day with or without food.
