Originator: Aricept by EISAI INC · Manufacturer: Pfizer Pharma. Indication & Dosage: Aricept (Donepezil) is a prescription medicine used to treat dementia of the Alzheimer’s type. Efficacy has been demonstrated in patients with mild, moderate, and severe Alzheimer’s Disease. Donepezil is an enzyme blocker that works by restoring the balance of natural substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain. Aricept manufactured by Pfizer Pharma ltd. in TURKEY. Donepezil has to take orally once daily with/ without food. Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions of Donepezil are: Nausea , vomiting , diarrhea , loss of appetite , dizziness , drowsiness, tiredness, trouble sleeping, shakiness (tremor), or muscle cramps.
