Indication & Dosage: Aprila (Apremilast), generic Otezla is a prescription medicine used to treat psoriatic arthritis (a condition that causes joint pain and swelling and scales on the skin). Apremilast used to treat also for plaque psoriasis. Aprila manufactured by Drug International Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. To reduce risk of gastrointestinal symptoms, titrate to recommended dose of Aprima 30 mg twice daily according to the following schedule: Day 1: 10 mg in morning Day 2: 10 mg in morning and 10 mg in evening Day 3: 10 mg in morning and 20 mg in evening Day 4: 20 mg in morning and 20 mg in evening Day 5: 20 mg in morning and 30 mg in evening Day 6 and thereafter: 30 mg twice daily Apremilast can be administered without regard to meals. Dosage adjustment in patients with severe renal impairment: Apremilast dosage should be reduced to 30 mg once daily in patients with severe renal impairment. For initial Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions of Apremilast are: Diarrhea , nausea / vomiting , loss of appetite, headache , or weight loss.
