Indication & Dosage: LuciTrelag (Trelagliptin), generic Zafatek is a prescription medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. Trelagliptin controls blood glucose levels by selectively and continually inhibiting dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-4),degrades incretin hormones that maintain blood glucose regulation and increases insulin secretion when blood glucose is elevated & thereby controlling blood glucose levels. LuciTrelag manufactured by Lucius Pharma Ltd. in Laos. Trelagliptin has to take orally once a week. Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions of Trelagliptin are: Hypoglycemia , nasopharyngitis , elevated lipase , itching , rashes , hives , shortness of breath , low blood pressure , dizziness and loose motions.
