Indication & Dosage: Urodart (Dutasteride), generic Avodart is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia-BPH). Dutasteride works by reducing the size of the enlarged prostate. Dutasteride helps improve urinary flow and may also reduce patience need for prostate surgery later on. Dutasteride is not approved for prevention of prostate cancer. Urodart may slightly increase the risk of developing a very serious form of prostate cancer. Urodart manufactured by Unimed Unihealth Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Dutasteride has to take orally once daily with/ without food. Side Effects: The most common side effects of Dutasteride are: Testicle pain / swelling , decreased sexual interest/ability, increased breast size or breast tenderness, decrease in the amount of semen/sperm.
