Indication & Dosage: Udiliva (Ursodeoxycholic Acid), generic Actigall is a prescription medicine used to treat of cholestasis (jaundice), primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), viral hepatitis, alcoholic fatty liver disease, primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), and the dissolution of cholesterol gallstones. UDCA is a naturally occurring hydrophilic bile acid derived from cholesterol and constitutes a minor component of the human bile acid pool. Oral administration increases its proportion in bile in a dose-dependent manner, allowing it to displace toxic, hydrophobic bile acids that accumulate in cholestatic liver diseases. Udiliva manufactured by Everest Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh.
