Indication & Dosage: Rubicin (Daunorubicin Hydrochloride) is a prescription medicine used to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), and chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). Daunorubicin Hydrochloride also works for Kaposi's sarcoma. Daunorubicin Hydrochloride is an anti-cancer (Antineoplastic or cytotoxic) chemotherapy drug. Daunorubicin Hydrochloride belongs to a class of drugs known as anthracycline antitumor antibiotic and works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.
