Indication & Dosage: Flamyd (METRONIDAZOLE), generic FLAGYL is a prescription medicine used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, such as infections of the vagina, stomach, liver, skin, joints, brain and spinal cord, lungs, heart, or bloodstream. METRONIDAZOLE works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. METRONIDAZOLE will not work for viral infections (such as the common cold, or flu). Flamyd is manufactured by Incepta Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. METRONIDAZOLE has to take orally as directed by patient’s doctor.
