Indication & Dosage: Dacilon (Dactinomycin), generic Cosmegen is a prescription medicine used to treat Wilms tumor (cancer of the kidneys), rhabdomyosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma (a rare type of cancer that occurs in bones or in the soft tissue around the bones), testicular cancer and gestational trophoblastic neoplasia. Dactinomycin works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Dacilon is manufactured by Celon Laboratories Ltd. in India. Dactinomycin is given by injection into a vein by a health care professional. Patient`s doctor will choose what portion is important and how frequently patient need to take it. Dosage is based on Patient`s medical condition, body size, and response to treatment.
