Remdesivir has to take by injection into a vein by a health care professional. It is given as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. It is given for 5 to 10 days for patients who are in the hospital and for 3 days for patients who are not in the hospital. It is infused over a period ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
