Telmisartan is also used for Reduction of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with Atherothrombotic cardiovascular disease (coronary heart disease, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease) and Type 2 diabetes mellitus with documented target organ damage. Telmipres manufactured by Incepta Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Telmisartan has to take orally once a day with or without food.
