Simponi (Golimumab), generic is a prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis, active psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and ulcerative colitis in adults—particularly when there’s an inadequate response to conventional therapies—and for polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis in children aged two years and older. Simponi manufactured by Msd pharma Ltd. in India. Golimumab may be given with or without methotrexate or other nonbiologic Disease Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs (DMARDs), usually once a month.

Simponi side effects

The most common side effects of Golimumab are: Body aches or pain, Chills, Cough, difficulty with breathing, ear congestion, Fever, headache, loss of voice.
