Indication & Dosage: SECNIZOL DS (SECNIDAZOLE), generic SOLOSEC is a prescription medicine used to treat a certain type of vaginal infection (bacterial vaginosis) in women. Secnidazole is also used to treat a certain common sexually transmitted infection (trichomoniasis). SECNIDAZOLE antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. SECNIDAZOLE will not work for viral infections (such as the common cold, or flu). SECNIZOL DS is manufactured by Incepta Pharma LTD. in Bangladesh. SECNIDAZOLE has to take orally once daily.
