MACROL (CLARITHROMYCIN), generic BIAXIN is a prescription medicine used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, such as chest infections, pneumonia, skin problems, and ear infections. MACROL can also be used in combination with anti-ulcer medications to treat certain types of stomach ulcers. CLARITHROMYCIN works by stopping the growth of bacteria. CLARITHROMYCIN antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. CLARITHROMYCIN will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). MACROL is manufactured by SANOVEL Pharma LTD. in TURKEY. CLARITHROMYCIN has to take orally twice a day with or without food.

MACROL side effects

The most common adverse reactions of CLARITHROMYCIN are: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache.
