Lucipret (Pretomanid), generic Dovprela is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) that is resistant to isoniazid, rifamycins, a fluoroquinolone, and a second-line injectable antibacterial agent, as well as for those with TB resistant to isoniazid and rifampin who are either intolerant to or non-responsive to standard treatment regimens. The most common side effects of Pretomanid are: Nausea, Vomiting, diarrhea, Cough, Chest pain, Headache, Acne, Rash, Itching, Unusual weight loss, Hunger, Sweating, Irritability, Dizziness, Fast heart rate, Anxiety, and, Shakiness.
