Indication & Dosage: LuciOdevi (Odevixibat), generic BYLVAY is a prescription medicine used to treat of pruritus (itching) associated with specific inherited liver disorders, including Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis (PFIC) and Alagille Syndrome (ALGS). These conditions lead to the accumulation of bilirubin in the liver, resulting in jaundice. Odevixibat is classified as an ileal bile acid transporter (IBAT) inhibitor, which helps reduce bile acid buildup and alleviate symptoms of jaundice, such as itching, yellowing of the skin and eyes, dark urine, and pale-colored stools. LuciOdevi manufactured by Lucius Pharma Ltd. in Loas. Odevixibat has to take orally once daily with food as directed by patient’s doctor. Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions of Odevixibat are: Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Vomiting, Elevated liver enzymes, Vitamin deficiencies (A, D, E, and K).
