LuciBren (Brensocatib), generic Brinsupri, is a prescription medicine used to treat non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, a chronic inflammatory lung condition characterized by persistent cough, mucus production, and recurrent infections. It works by inhibiting dipeptidyl peptidase-1 (DPP-1), thereby reducing the activation of neutrophil enzymes that contribute to lung inflammation and tissue damage, helping to decrease exacerbations and improve respiratory outcomes. LuciBren manufactured by Lucius Pharma Ltd. In Laos. Brensocatib has to take orally once daily with or without food.

LuciBren side effects

The most common side effects of Brensocatib are: Upper respiratory tract infections, headache, skin rash, dry skin, skin thickening (hyperkeratosis), and high blood pressure.
