LOPID uses and dosage

LOPID (GEMFIBROZIL), is a prescription medicine used along with a proper diet to help lower fats (triglycerides) and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. It may also help to lower "bad" cholesterol (LDL). It works by decreasing the amount of fat produced by the liver. GEMFIBROZIL is also used to treat pancreas disease (pancreatitis). LOPID is manufactured by PFIZER Pharma LTD. in TURKEY. GEMFIBROZIL has to take orally twice daily without food.

LOPID side effects

The most common adverse reactions of GEMFIBROZIL are: Stomach upset, stomach/abdominal pain, unusual taste.
