It may also help to lower "bad" cholesterol (LDL). It works by decreasing the amount of fat produced by the liver. GEMFIBROZIL is also used to treat pancreas disease (pancreatitis). LOPID is manufactured by PFIZER Pharma LTD. in TURKEY. GEMFIBROZIL has to take orally twice daily without food.
