Indication & Dosage: Liftear (Lifitegrast), generic Xiidra is a prescription medicine used to treat of dry eye disease (keratoconjunctivitis sicca). Lifitegrast acts as a lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) antagonist, mitigating inflammation by inhibiting the interaction between LFA-1 and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1). Liftear manufactured by Aristopharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Lifitegrast has to shake well brfore using. In severe disease, drops may be used hourly, being tapered to discontinuation as the inflammation subsides. In mild disease, drops may be used up to two times daily. Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions are: Change in how things taste, Blurry vision, Eye redness, itchiness, or discomfort, Headache, Increased tears.
