About this medicine
AIVODX is a prescription medicine used to treat: • Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) with an isocitrate dehydrogenase-1 (IDH1) mutation, in adults aged 75 years or older with newly diagnosed AML, in adults who cannot receive certain chemotherapy because of other health problems, and in adults with AML whose disease has relapsed or has not improved after previous treatment. • Bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) that has spread, in adults who have already been treated and whose tumour has a certain type of abnormal IDH1 mutation. Your healthcare provider will perform a test to confirm that AIVODX is right for you. It is not known whether AIVODX is safe and effective in children.
