About this medicine

This product is a kinase inhibitor indicated for: Gastrointestinal stromal tumour (GIST) — treatment of adult patients with unresectable or metastatic GIST harbouring a platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRA) exon 18 mutation, including the PDGFRA D842V mutation. Advanced systemic mastocytosis (AdvSM) — treatment of adult patients; AdvSM includes aggressive systemic mastocytosis (ASM), systemic mastocytosis with an associated haematological neoplasm (SM-AHN) and mast cell leukaemia (MCL). Limitation of use: not recommended in patients with a platelet count below 50 × 10⁹/L. Indolent systemic mastocytosis (ISM) — treatment of adult patients. Limitation of use: not recommended in patients with a platelet count below 50 × 10⁹/L.
