KLACID uses and dosage
KLACID (CLARITHROMYCIN), generic BIAXIN is a prescription medicine used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, such as chest infections, pneumonia, skin problems, and ear infections. KLACID can also be used in combination with anti-ulcer medications to treat certain types of stomach ulcers. CLARITHROMYCIN works by stopping the growth of bacteria. CLARITHROMYCIN antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. CLARITHROMYCIN will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). KLACID is manufactured by ABBOTT Pharma LTD. in TURKEY. CLARITHROMYCIN has to take orally twice a day with or without food.
