Ifomes (Mesna), generic Mesnex is a prescription medicine used to treat prophylactic agent for preventing urothelial toxicity and hemorrhagic cystitis associated with ifosfamide and high-dose cyclophosphamide. Mesna mitigates the risk of bladder bleeding, a serious side effect of ifosfamide chemotherapy.
