Eposis uses and dosage
Eposis (Erythropoietin Alfa), generic EPOGEN is a prescription medicine used to treat anemia (low red blood cell count) in individuals with chronic kidney disease, those receiving Zidovudine for HIV treatment, and patients undergoing chemotherapy for certain types of cancer that do not affect the bone marrow or blood cells. Eposis alfa (Erythropoietin Alfa) may also be administered to anemic patients prior to high-risk surgeries to reduce the need for blood transfusions, often in combination with an anticoagulant (e.g., Warfarin) to minimize the risk of serious blood clots. Eposis alfa (Erythropoietin Alfa) stimulates the bone marrow to produce red blood cells, functioning similarly to erythropoietin, a natural hormone that regulates red blood cell production and prevents anemia. Eposis is manufactured by Beacon Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Erythropoietin Alfa (Epoetin alfa) is given by in
