Dorubin (Daunorubicin Hydrochloride) is a prescription medicine used to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), and chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). Daunorubicin Hydrochloride also works for Kaposi's sarcoma. Daunorubicin Hydrochloride is an anti-cancer (Antineoplastic or cytotoxic) chemotherapy drug. Daunorubicin Hydrochloride belongs to a class of drugs known as anthracycline antitumor antibiotic and works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Dorubin is manufactured by Drug International Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Daunorubicin Hydrochloride is given by injection into a vein by a health care professional.
