Indication & Dosage: Certican (Everolimus), generic Afinitor is a prescription medicine used to treat advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC), advanced Hormone Receptor-Positive (HR+) and HER2- breast cancer, advanced neuroendocrine tumors (NET) of pancreatic, gastrointestinal, or lung. Everolimus is used to treat a certain type of cancer of the pancreas, stomach, intestines, or lungs. It is also used to treat tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA). Certican manufactured by Novartis Pharma Ltd. in Switzerland. Everolimus has to take orally once a day at the same time every day with or without food. Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions of Everolimus are: Diarrhea , nausea / vomiting , decreased appetite, weight loss, changes in taste, nosebleeds, dry skin, dizziness , headache , pain or sores in the mouth and throat.
