It helps people with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), a lung disease that makes it hard to breathe. COPD includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema. This medicine has two drugs: indacaterol and Glycopyrronium. They relax the muscles in your airways so you can breathe better. Indacaterol belongs to the class of drugs known as long-acting beta agonists (LABAs). Glycopyrronium belongs to a class of drugs known as anticholinergics. They are both bronchodilators, which means they widen your airways. You need to use this medicine every day to make it work. It is not for sudden breathing problems. If you have trouble breathing, use your rescue inhaler as your doctor told you. This medicine is not for asthma.
