Bleonix uses and dosage
Bleonix (Bleomycin), generic BLENOXANE is a prescription medicine used to treat slowing or stopping cancer cell growth. Bleomycin also helps control pleural effusion (fluid around the lungs) caused by tumors, administered via chest tube. As a palliative treatment, Bleonix is effective for several cancers, including squamous cell carcinoma (in areas like the head, neck, cervix, and skin), lymphomas (Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's), and testicular carcinoma. Bleomycin is also useful for managing malignant pleural effusion. Response may be poorer in patients with previously irradiated head and neck cancer. Bleonix manufactured by Beacon Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Bleomycin is given by injection into a vein by a healthcare professional. Dosage is based on Patient`s medical condition, body size, and response to treatment.
