Anlotib uses and dosage

Anlotib (Anlotinib), generic Catequentinib is a prescription medicine used to treat advanced non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who failed two lines of chemotherapy. Anlotinib is a methoxyquinoline-indole derivative and it is a novel small-molecule TKI, has multiple targets of action, which can effectively inhibit tyrosine kinase activity, block EGFR-mediated tumor cell signaling, suppress angiogenesis, and inhibit tumor cell growth, thus promoting tumor cell apoptosis. The National Medical Products Administration approved anlotinib monotherapy as a third-line treatment for patients with advanced NSCLC and additionally, a phase IIB randomized trial substantiated that anlotinib is associated with a significant longer median PFS in patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma. Anlotib is manufactured by Ziska Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh. Anlotinib has to take orally once daily.

Anlotib side effects

The most common adverse reaction of Anlotinib are: hypertension (15.4%), oral ulcers (7.7%), hand–foot syndrome (7.7%), bleeding (7.7%), and fatigue (11.5%). And the adverse reactions related to temozolomide are: leukocyte decline (15.4%), anemia (3.8%), and liver function impairment (7.7%).
